Fushigi Yuugi Episode 25 "Loved But Sad"

Keisuke is in the library reading aloud the Four Gods Sky and Earth.
"Taiitsu-kun suggested to Miko that she get the Shinzaho from the Genbu territory.

Back in the book at the failed Suzaku ceremony...
'In Hokkan Country,' Thinks Miaka, 'Genbu's territory, get the Shinzaho.'
"If I get it," She asks Taiitsu-kun, "I'll be able to call Suzaku?"
"You can." Replys the old woman.
"What's a Shinzaho anyway?" Asks Tamahome from his place beside Miaka.
"I won't tell you that much." Replied Taiitsu-kun.
"You OLD BAG." Tamahome said with apparent irritation. Miaka interupted.
"I understand! I'll GO to Hokkan Country!" She said bravely. "I'll find the KADOHO(made up word)"
"SHINZAHO!" Corrected Taiitsu-kun as she shook her head slightly. "Are you all there?" By then, Miaka was lost in her own thoughts. 'Since the ceremony failed...I'll do what I have to, no matter what it takes.'
"Well then..." Taiitsu-kun's voice brought Miaka back to reality. "...if you've decided." Taiitsu-kun started muttering a spell while the rest of the Seishis and Miaka stood in wonder and puzzlement. A energy ball gathered in Taiitsu-kun's right palm. At that time, in front of all the Seishis, except Tamahome, an energy ball gathered. The Seishis were a bit surprised. Then, all the energy balls turned into something. Hotohori's turned into a sword.
"Wh-what's this?" He asked in amazement. At the same time, Mistukake's energy ball turned into a red bottle containing something. Tasuki's turned into a fan.
"Tessen!" Yelled Tasuki. "It's like a diamond.!" Chichiri's turned into a sort of charm/bells while Chiriko's turned into a red scroll and Nuriko's turned into bracelets.
"What's going on?" Nuriko asked.
"Rewards for our efforts thus far." Replied Taiitsu-kun. "These items increase the strength of your powers."
"I feel it!" Exclaims Tasuki, pumping his muscles. "More power than before!" Tamahome smiles at him.
"That's great!" Tamahome said loudly as he turned to Taiistu-kun and pointed to himself. "Taiitsu-kun, how about me?" He asks. "Me?"
"Beats me." Answered Taiitsu-kun calmly. Tamahome goes into a state of shock trying to reach towards Taiitsu-kun. "I have nothing speccial for you. The OLD BAG's present can't go to anybody, who'd SELL them." Then she starts laughing insanely.
"How MEAN!" Complained Tamahome as a picture of falling leaves in back and white appeared behind him. "*I* had a rough time TOOoo." He jumps onto Mitsukake and reaches for his red bottle. "Gimme! Gimme! GIVE it to meeee!"
"Oh," said Taiitsu-kun, totally ignoring Tamahome. "Forgot something important." She turned to Miaka. "Close your eyes Miaka."
"Yes." Replied Miaka and obediently closed her eyes and slightly bowed her head. Taiitsu-kun's hand went up above Miaka's head and sprinkled some kind of powder. Miaka flinched, then looked up with her mouth open.
"Its the ashes from the 'Four Gods Sky and Earth'" Said Taiitsu-kun. "Now, if you have some kind of latent ability...some day it will appear for sure." Miaka looked at her hands. 'My latent ability.' She thought as she slightly clutched her fist. At the time, Tamahome is beneath the fire (that was also the picture of Taiitsu-kun) waving his arms at her franticly while shouting his head off.
"Taiitsu-kun, for me! For me! For me!" Taiitsu-kun waved her hand at him in annoyance.
"Pesty! Pesty! Pesty!"
"Thank you, Taiitsu-kun!" Said Miaka, smiling, also ignoring Tamahome's behavior. "I'll do my best."
"Guess I'm going." Tasuki said with a slight smile.
"I'll accompany you." Chiriko perked up. Nuriko was also talking from behind Miaka.
"It'd be dangerous for Miaka to go without me." Miaka turned her head towards them happily and touched.
"Everyone." She smiled. Tamahome put his hand on top of her head.
"Don't forget about me." Miaka blushed.
"Tamahome." There is a view of the whole group together happily smiling. "SO GET READY EVERYONE!" Yells Miaka as she goes SD and satrs running towards the door.
"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Taiitsu-kun yells at her. Miaka stops and turns around, slightly confused.
"What?!"
"I haven't finished with you. Everyone otta her except Miaka." Everyone looks at Taiitsu-kun, puzzled.

In Kotou country...
"Yui-sama..." Nakago says, heading for Yui.
"Nakago." Yui looks up from her meal as Nakago walked into the room.
"Sorry for interupting your meal." Nakago apologizes. "Something disturbing has occurred." Yui smiles.
"Oh, what's that? How unusual for YOU to lose your composure."
"Be that as it may..." replies Nakago, lowering his head in thought slightly. "Can you come with me?" Yui looks a bit worried. They go to a room and the door is opened. Inside, Suboshi is kneeling with his head down not noticing Yui nor Nakago.
"What's the boy doing?" Asked Yui.
"Amiboshi, his twin, may have lost his life." Nakago replied. Yui looks up in shock.
"Died? No."
"Killed by the Suzaku Seishi." Nakago informed her. "I've also tried to find his chi, but...it was the same. I didn't expect Amiboshi to be killed." Hearing this news, Yui slowly walked into the darkened room.
"Shit. Son of a bitch." Suboshi muttered to himself as Yui waked in.
"So..." Yui said softly. "...that's why you've beeon crying. That's it, isn't it? You lost someone important to you."
"SHUP UP! WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!" Yelled Suboshi, turning to face Yui.
"I see. I think I understand a bit." Yui commented quietly as she slowly put her arms around Suboshi in a gentle hug. "Cry as much as you want." She gave a caring smile. "Cry as much as you need to." A pained look entered Suboshi's face right before he started to sob uncontrollably.
Outside the room, Nakago leaned back on the door. "Amiboshi...was foolish."

Back in the ceremony room...
"What did you want to talk about?" Asked Miaka.
"About Seiryuu no Miko, your frined, Yui." Answered Taiitsu-kun. Miaka seemed startled.
"Yui-chan! Did something happen to Yui-chan?!"
"Don't you get it?" Taiitsu-kun countered patiently. "Since Seiryuu Seishi, Amiboshi, is no more...they're unable to call Seiryuu." Miaka gasps as realization hits her face. "You understand what it means?" Miaka looked down.
"Yui-chan. Yui-chan will go to find Hokkan Country's Oshinkomaki(rolled sushi)."
"SHINZAHO!" Taiitsu-kun corrected, narrowing her eyes. "If that happens, your side and the other will clash. You will be forced to fight the Seiryuu Seishi." Miaka looked pained and sad. 'Go up against Yui-chan' A picture of Yui forms in her mind. 'Which of us will be ahead to find the Shinzaho? I'll fight with Yui-chan?' Before Miaka could decide, Taiistu-kun started talking again.
"One more thing, listen carefully to what I have to say." Miaka looked up. "This will be very strict and hard on you."

Outside of the ceremony room....
"What's holding up Miaka so long?" Whined Tamahome.
"Oooh, you come from Josai City?" Nuriko asked looking at Chiriko. "Just a hop, skip and a jump from here."
"I've been busy studying." Chiriko replied cheerfully. Nuriko looked over Chiriko's head to Tasuki.
"Hear that Tasuki? Why don't you quit being a stingy ale bandit and do like him?"
"Eech! Bug off!" Tasuki replied, slightly annoyed. Then he continued with a smirk. "When its all over, I'll go to Mt. Leikako and be a greater leader than the former one..." He reached towards his back for his new fan. "What with this haiisen..." His hand touched empty air. Tasuki turned his head around, frantic to have lost his new present. Then, he sees Tamahome sneaking off near his back. He grabs Tamahome and they start fighting. "What the Hell are you up to?!" Tasuki yelled.
"It's okay. She didn't give ME anything!" Tamahome argued.
"But your character is ROTTEN!" Tasuki screamed as he bit Tamahome's arm.
"But your BRAIN'S worse!" Tamahome yelled back, pulling Tasuki's teeth from his arm.
"Your legs are SHORTER than mine."
"Who cares..."
"They're WORSE than bandits..." Nuriko sighed as he walked in front of them. Just then, the door to the ceremony room opened and Miaka walked out. Tamahome and Tasuki paused in their battle.
"Miaka, you're finished?" Asked Hotohori, slightly concerned. Miaka gave a positive acknowledgement.
"Why don't we go back to the court?" She smiled. "I'm worn out." Hotohori looked slightly puzzled.
"Oh...okay?" Hotohori didn't seem too sure what to do. Behind him, Tamahome looked worried and confused. 'Miaka'.

Later that night...
Miaka stood in front of a closed door with her head down thinking. 'Tamahome's room' she thought as she raised her hand to knock. 'What brought me here?' She had a vision of Taiistu-kun saying, "Okay, Miaka!" 'Its not okay.' Miaka countered with her mind. 'Its not okay, but...' Just then, someone poked Miaka on the shoulder. Miaka turned back to see a someone making a hideously scary face.
"Its me! Just me!" Tamahome pleaded as Miaka started stomping on him.
"NORMAL girls scream." Tamahome commented as he sat with a bandaged nose in his room across from Miaka.
"Hey, what's that?" Miaka threatened. Tamahome abruptly paled and started waving his hand.
"N-n-nothing." Then, he calmed down. "Other thank that, what's up this time?"
"Nothing." Miaka looked down at her tea cup. "Just wanted to see you."
"Shoot." Tamahome sighed lazily. "I figured you came to make passionate love to me."
"What was THAT?!" Miaka growled standing on the table with the tea-pot threatening over Tamahome's head.
"NOTHING at all!" Tamahome wimpered.
After settling down, Miaka continued drinking her tea. Then, she noticed Tamahome staring dreamily at her with a smile on his face. Then, she remembered Taiistu-kun saying, "If you want to get the Shinzaho...Okay, Miaka?" Then she came back to reality and looked at Tamahome, slightly flustered.
"What is it? Something on my face?"
"No." Tamahome smiled. "Just want to be able to look at you forever." Miaka looked mildly shocked. Tamahome got out of his chair and walked to the side of the room, his back facing Miaka. "Miaka, I've saved money for myself and my family." He started.
"Oh." Miaka replied absent-mindedly, sipping her tea.
"I'm at marriagable age now." Tamahome continued. "Sooner or later I'll be independent. If it's possible, I'll build us a new house. We won't be rich, but we'll be happy." Miaka puts down her cup and pours herself some more tea as Tamahome starts to fiddle his thumbs and fluster with embarrasment. "I want to have boys. I-I mean..." Miaka finishes a huge cup of tea as Tamahome keeps on talking. "What I want to say is...I want us to marry." Tamahome finally says with determination. Miaka looks shocked and drops her cup. The cup falls to the ground, making a clanging sound. Tamahome turns his head and looks at her in surprise.
"Who's us?" Miaka asks dumbly. Tamahome turns SD and pounded on the table Miaka's sitting by.
"WHO ELSE EXCEPT YOU?!" He yelled. "Getting together, when everyting's over, is fine. If you visit your world, you won't be able to get back for a while...So before you do, please meet my father. If you don't mind." He paused. "Marry me." He concluded. Miaka stood up all of a sudden.
"Don't make trouble now. Besides, I'm only 15." She started to stutter.
"It's a marriageable age," countered Tamahome. "It's the same for me." Miaka turned around and talked to herself.
"Marriageable age? It is?"
"I've thought it over." Tamahome insisted. "I'll work hard." He put his hand on Miaka's shoulder. "I won't give you a hard time."
"But..."
"Forever, I'll be there to protect you. I'll make you happy. I mean it."
"Tamahome." Miaka whispered as she had a flashback of what Taiitsu-kun had said to her.
"You understand what I mean, Miaka?" The flashback ended and Miaka lowered her head, her face in a pained expression.
"No, I can't say it." She clenched her fist. "But if I don't tell him now. I'll never be able to. Tell him, Miaka!" She urged herself. "Miaka."
